OBOS DIVESTS PORTALEN – URBAN CLUSTER PORTFOLIO AT LILLESTRØM
OBOS Eiendom AS has divested a portfolio including a multi-tenant office property with ground floor retail and parking facilities, a hotel property and multiple smaller office and retail properties. The buyer is an SPV originated by Arctic Securities, with the hotel eventually being sold to Storebrand Eiendomsfond Norge KS.
The total property value amounted to NOK 1.6 billion.
The portfolio, named Portalen, is an urban development project completed in 2018, located in Lillestrøm, just outside Oslo. The project benefits from its strategic location next to Lillestrøm station with a 10 min train ride to Oslo Central Station and 10 min to Oslo Airport Gardermoen. It has proven highly successful attracting an existing mix of public and private tenants, the Nordic hotel operator Scandic, along with a mixture of urban floor F&B and retail tenants. The project also included 144 apartments sold in the open market.
Akershus Eiendom acted as sole transaction manager.
Obos Eiendom is a wholly owned subsidiary of OBOS ASA, established to develop and operate commercial properties. OBOS was established in 1929 and has become the largest Nordic cooperative building associations, owned by ~ 450,000 members.
